It was a wonderful dining experience at Aalia. We had the lamb nayyeh, which was an exquisite balance of a steak tartare with middle eastern flavours. We also had at quail skewers which were exceptional, and the duck fesenjan which was prepared so delicately with an incredible walnut flavour that pays tribute to the traditional dish. We were served by the lovely Francesco, who made sure I had a wonderful and memorable birthday dinner. We were able to bring along my small dog accommodated by the outdoor seating, and the ambience was just as delightful. Highly recommend. I look forward to coming again and sampling the rest of the menu.

I had a wonderful dining experience at AALIA during my visit to Sydney. The restaurant offers beautifully executed Middle Eastern cuisine and you can really taste the authenticity and quality in every dish. The food was excellent — rich in flavour, well balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. Each dish felt authentic while still being presented in a refined and modern way. It was a great introduction to Middle Eastern flavours done at a very high level. The service was also superb. The staff were professional, attentive, and made the whole dining experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. You really feel well taken care of throughout the meal. Overall, AALIA delivers both exceptional food and hospitality. If you’re looking for authentic Middle Eastern cuisine in Sydney with outstanding service, this is definitely a restaurant worth visiting.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Aliaa. From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The manager was incredibly welcoming and professional, the service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. The food was outstanding. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The oysters were WOW — some of the freshest and most delicious I’ve ever had. Every dish we ordered was prepared perfectly. Honestly, 5 stars isn’t enough for this place — they deserve 10 stars. If you’re looking for amazing food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere, Aliaa is a must visit. I can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful restaurant, convenient location and most of all delicious, generously served food. A really unique restaurant on the Sydney fine dining scene for it's unique Iranian and North African inspired menu. So many plates where I had to close my eyes to enjoy the bite because I wanted no distractions. For a perfect night have Simon as your server, nicest guy in town.

What an amazing restaraunt. We had the lunch express menu and the standout was the lamb with pita bread, dips and chips. The land fell of the bone and was literally the best tasting dish from any Medeternanian place I’ve ever been. An awesome bonus was swivel chairs!!! I love swivel chairs and it made things so much comfy why can’t every place have these?!! Would come back again.

What a beautiful experience this was!! Every dish is amazing, from the steaks to the cabbage to the special pita bread to the eggplant mezze, and can’t forget the cocktails and desserts. Big thank you to Lia for providing the fun and friendly ambience :)

Dined at Aalia for our anniversary dinner and it surely was special. We were welcomed with sparkling wine on arrival and got even better from there! Service was excellent and the food was just divine. The anchovies and quail skewers were perfect starters. My favourite combo for mains were the lamb shawarma and lions mane mushroom. I could see why Aalia is very popular and highly rated. A must try in Sydney!

Visited Aalia for our anniversary dinner and had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. We were welcomed with champagne on arrival, which was a really lovely touch, and the service throughout the night was exceptional. We ordered a range of dishes from the à la carte menu and every item was extraordinary. The flavours complemented each other beautifully and each dish was presented so thoughtfully. It felt like a truly special dining experience and one we’ll definitely remember.

Food and atmosphere was great but the service from Jacob and Nicol stood out as a highlight (everyone was nice). We both enjoyed well balanced and produced mid eastern feast (even my partner is Gluten Free). And Chablis and Gamay were amazing...! We definitely picked the right restaurant :)

AALIA ended up being one of my favorite meals in Sydney. I visited while on a mission to try as many of Australia’s top steakhouses as possible, and this lunch was genuinely memorable. The short rib was absolutely incredible, the king prawn skewer was so good I ordered another after finishing my meal, the cabbage was unexpectedly one of the best vegetable dishes I’ve ever had, and the mocktails were excellent. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. Sarah was warm, welcoming, and took the time to chat with me about my trip and my quest to experience Australia’s best restaurants. She made dining solo feel anything but lonely. A small issue arose after my visit, but Sarah reached out personally afterward with one of the kindest and most thoughtful messages I’ve ever received from someone in hospitality. The way she handled it said far more about her character and AALIA’s standards than the mistake itself. Great food is easy to remember. Great people are harder to forget. I left Australia today, but I’ll be back for Sydney summer, and AALIA will be one of my first reservations when I return.
